IT Services is one of the largest service lines of the Global Business Services (GBS) division. It consists of more than 5,000 people serving the business units of Deutsche Post DHL across Europe, Americas and Asia-Pacific.
As a global logistics group, Deutsche Post DHL increasingly relies on modern IT solutions. Integrated applications and high-performance systems are important prerequisites for success in the worldwide logistics market with its unique growth potentials.
IT is a key competitive factor for the Group. A top-performing IT organization is the backbone of the Group's business. It enables customers to interface with the business units anytime and anywhere.
Following the company's IT split into Demand and Supply, IT Services is a single professional Supply Organization that aims at offering Build (development), Run (operation) and Integration IT services to the business units of the Deutsche Post DHL. It strives for best-in-class services in terms of cost, quality and time-to-market. The aim is to increase IT efficiency, leverage a world-class infrastructure, provide transparent and defined services globally and support global expansion.

IT Services can provide a range of services tailored to individual customer needs. We go beyond the regular business hours. Twenty-four hours a day, 7days a week, 365 days a year, our highly qualified and experienced teams can provide the coverage which best suits each customer. Supported by advanced knowledge-management tools IT Services provides a world class service.
We support the business units with services along the IT value chain - from the appropriate IT strategy to complete system development and integration to accompanying operational consulting.
IT Services supplies "Consult and Build" services from a number of locations in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas, where a high number of professionals are engaged in developing software applications for the group. IT Services also provides IT "Run" services through IT Services data centers and global network.
The integrated range of services offered by IT Services is also based on many years of best-practice experience in the logistics industry and in-depth IT know-how. This means that we are in the best possible position for managing out IT projects successfully in complex and global organizations. We play a major role in enhancing the value of Deutsche Post DHL by identifying synergy potential and using it to implement successful IT solutions.
